Our Film, The Runner Opening Scene
Phycological horrors are usually distributed by larger companies as they gain a lot more popularity in the modern film industry. This never used to be the case as they were usually distributed by smaller companies and had a smaller budget as they were not very popular.
We chose to use Rogue Pictures and Working Title as our distributers. We chose working title because they are a well known english film production company and have been involved with many big english horror films. We felt this fitted with our film because we wanted an english distributer that had other horror films that had done well. From watching the opening scenes of some of our chosen research films we could tell most of the phycological horrors were distributed by large American companies as they were mostly American films. This is what made us choose large English companies
